Who is responsible?
Clovantis, with its headquarters in Dubai and an office in Tunis, is responsible for enquiries collected on this website. Contact contact@clovantis.com for questions about your personal data.
Information collected
The contact form records your name, work email, company, enquiry, selected service and markets, language, consent version, UTC and Dubai timestamps, and processing status. Campaign labels (UTM) and the referral origin are included when available. We do not collect your browsing history.
Purpose and consent
We use this information to respond to your request and prepare the discussions or engagement you ask for. Sending the form requires your explicit agreement. Information is not sold or used to add you to a marketing list. You may withdraw your agreement by contacting us; this does not affect processing already lawfully completed.
Ask Clovantis
Ask Clovantis combines prepared website answers with an AI service hosted by Cloudflare when available. Your question and a limited recent conversation context may be sent to that service to produce an answer. It does not provide personalised legal, tax or regulatory advice. Avoid sharing confidential or sensitive information. If you select the sharing option in Ask Clovantis, your next questions and the answers you receive are stored in encrypted form for 90 days and may be read or deleted by Clovantis administrators to understand your needs and improve the assistant. Sharing is optional and is not required to use the chatbot. No IP address is associated with saved questions. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals prevent this recording. Uncheck the option to stop sharing future questions. Resetting the chat only clears the local conversation; contact Clovantis to request deletion of a question already shared. Sending your email and the displayed conversation to request follow-up remains a separate choice.
Access, hosting and notifications
Website enquiries and voluntarily shared chatbot questions and answers are stored in a private database on the Clovantis hosting account at alwaysdata. Access is restricted to authorised Clovantis administrators and the people maintaining the service. Shared questions and answers are encrypted in the database. Cloudflare processes the limited data needed to answer AI chatbot requests when that service is used. Any email provider activated for notifications processes the addresses and content needed to send them. Recovery copies follow the hosting plan’s limited backup window.
Retention and protection
The retention period for website enquiries and shared conversations is 24 months from submission. You can request earlier deletion by contacting us. If an engagement follows, any separate client record is governed by the applicable contractual and legal retention duties. Temporary anti-abuse counters expire after 15 minutes. Recovery copies are retained for the hosting plan’s limited backup window.
Browser preferences
The site opens in English by default. An explicit French language choice is preserved in navigation links. Theme preferences are saved locally. The assistant and campaign labels use temporary session storage. No advertising cookies are installed by this website. Clovantis measures page views and chatbot usage using a pseudonymised identifier derived from the connection IP address and renewed each day. The same IP address counts as one visitor per day across pages and browsers; people sharing a connection are grouped together. These counters are retained for 90 days without an additional cookie or stored IP address. The text of voluntarily shared questions and answers is kept separately, encrypted, for 90 days as described under Ask Clovantis. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals are respected. The connection country is estimated from the IP address, processed temporarily on our server without being retained in the statistics or sent to an external geolocation service.
Your rights
Where the GDPR, the UAE personal data protection law or another applicable law grants these rights, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your data, object to processing and withdraw consent. Write to contact@clovantis.com, indicating the email used for the enquiry. We may need to verify your identity before responding. You may lodge a complaint with the competent data protection authority.
